CSU Sacramento ADA Transition Plan – Public Outreach Process

California State University, Sacramento has started the process to update the campus ADA Transition Plan and will be conducting a public forum on October 7th, 2016 which is an important step in the process.

The ADA Transition Plan forum will take place in two separate sessions to accommodate as many peoples’ schedules, one at 10:30am, the second at 5:30pm.  Both sessions will be in Folsom Hall, room 1049 at 7667 Folsom Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95826.

It is important to understand all subject matter to be covered in each session will be identical.

An ADA Transition Plan allows the campus to identify barriers to access for people with disabilities in buildings, parking and walkways, determine a method to remove them and set a schedule for the remediation over time.

Campus staff at Facilities Management has worked with SZS Consulting Group on this process to make our campus a more accessible environment.

Questionnaires for public outreach are available here to fill out online at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/CSUS_ADATP_Public_Outreach

Please complete the questionnaires if you are or are not able to attend the October 7th public forum.  We wish to give you as much opportunity as possible to provide your input.

Please contact the Office for Equal Opportunity equalopportunity@csus.edu or Services to Students with Disabilities sswd@csus.edu for assistance at least three business days in advance of the event if you need a disability related reasonable accommodation to participate in one or both of the October 7th forum session(s).
